OUR TIP: There are numerous climbing gardens and climbing routes in our immediate vicinity. This includes the Burschelwand and Affenhimmel cliff faces, with over 230 routes and 80 m of elevation.

- Kaunergrat Nature Park, covering 58,920 hectares ranging from sections of the Inn Valley right up to the highest peak in Tyrol – the Wildspitze (3,768 m) – thus covering all alpine elevation classes. There’s more than just mountain goats to observe: the terrain covers everything from upland moors and herbal pastures to Swiss pine forests.
- E5, one of Europe's best-known long-distance hiking trails, running from Brittany, France to Verona, Italy — directly past the Jägerhof.

Zams has been a hub of travel and commerce since Roman times. The roads to Vinschgau, Engadin, the Lake Constance region and Bavaria cross here. This role has kept Zams a fascinating destination even today for all wishing to escape the everyday or find adventure, either by foot or bike.
In fact, Jägerhof's unbeatable location makes a favourite for two-wheeled transport of both the motorised and unmotorised kinds. There are only handful of hotels in all of the Alps with such a magnificent location at the heart of the alpine roadways yet also accessible to excursion destinations. Our guests also receive the TirolWest card for the duration of their stay.
