It is our perpetual honour and privilege to be located directly at the foot of a majestic ski mountain like the Venet.
We are blessed to be only a few steps away from the Venet tramway's base station, one of two local ski schools and ski hire options. And Venet Mountain is more than just a ski hill; it’s a destination for outdoor enthusiasts of all stripes, with remarkable panorama views. Our guests appreciate this proximity to the mountain and the opportunity to ski or not ski as their mood dictates...
The view from your room toward the base station of the Venetbahn will only whet your appetite. By breakfast, many guests are raring to head up the hill to lay down those first set of tracks in the snow. And remember: from mid-December there are regular ski demo days and in January the chance to ride on the Venet’s wonderfully groomed pistes. The high altitudes ensure magnificent skiing fun. Yet there is another element that sets our establishment apart. We’re not just placed somewhere at random in the valley, but rather right at its centre. Serious skiers can point their board toward the bottom of over 1,000 kilometres of tracks all around at some of the most famous alpine resorts...

We’re not located off in some side valley, but rather perfectly central. In many cases it's less than a half-hour by car to some of the biggest names in skiing, including Ischgl, Serfaus, St. Anton, Lech Zürs and the Kauner Valley. The perfect location for those who love variability and covering a lot of terrain. But also for those who love to settle in on a lovely sun terrace at one of the prettiest ski resorts on earth. The Jägerhof has it all.

For Jägerhof guests, it is naturally a huge plus that the railway, ski school and ski hire are just steps from the hotel. The ski resort itself is of a manageable size, ideal for beginners. But Venet also has plenty in store for those who enjoy a more athletic challenge. While the kids take ski lessons, mama and papa can head off on their own adventure — with the option to peek in from time to time to see what the little ones are up to. Both of the resorts children's ski schools work hard to keep the children happy and entertained. The ski depot at the mountain’s base station is perfect — simply climb in the gondola and head down to the valley, no lugging of skis required.
By the way: there is also a training lift just a few steps from the Jägerhof — ideal for getting everyone used to the feel of skis under their feet. Enjoy!

The Venet ski resort offers 22 km of finely groomed pistes. The gorgeous south side beckons to both beginners and experts, promising short runs and gentle ski meadows that flow down to the river. The challenging, moderately steep slopes on the north side get snow reliably ever year and are ideal for free carvers. Snowboarders, by contrast, are drawn magnetically toward the broad slopes. For kids there is a training lift, a bungy jumping attraction and a conveyor belt. A children’s playground delivers an extra dose of fun and games.
